THE SILVER BEATLEZ
I have been inspired, and influenced by the Beatles since I was 14 years old, and they were a huge part of the reason I became a musician, and began a lifetime career playing music.
Creating this tribute band has been a labour of love, and we look forward to sharing our show with many audiences throughout New Zealand.

I am an avid animal
lover, and was engaged like most New Zealanders, with the extraordinary
journey that Happy Feet had made to Pekapeka beach just up the road from
me on the Kapiti coast. Suddenly, a few nights after he had arrived, this
song began writing itself in my head - I couldn't stop it if I tried.
I quickly demo'd it in my home studio, and then took it to the brilliant
Ross McDermott of Soundsgood studios in Paraparaumu, where we proceeded
to put it down over the course of a few short sessions. We were accompanied
by Errol Maffey, (of Nimlin Films) a renowned local film-maker who took
footage of us recording the song. Later Errol filmed additional footage
on location at Pekapeka Beach, and Wellington Zoo.
Many thanks to Ross and Errol and their amazing creativity, and all who
encouraged me during the project.
